My Cats … 2101-2k15
Rough, tough and yet so light
Ever ready for a touristy fight
Cushy insides and comfy tight
Outside is such a pleasant sight
Padded inners, a springy sole
Inspires you like a tender foal
Confident knots of its lace's bind
Safe and secure in your mind
Wear them, feel, totally free
Loyal treads, for a world to see
Put to the test, are rough and tough
Gets a nod, even, from miners gruff
Whether you're tall slender slim
Or paunchy short silent grim
CATS will be your sturdy pals
Ready for hikes or dancing gals
On heavy cranes, tracked trucks
Logging camp or hauling rucks
Scottish mounts to Malay swamp
Sporty track or machinery ramp
Rains and snow or desert sand
Nothing equals this apex brand
Have a love affair with my CATS
From peaty bogs to caving bats

An ode to my caterpillar boots, without which, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere in the world.
Well worn, broken in, seen service, a bit faded and frayed but there in the corner… ready like me… :)
I bought them on my birthday two years back. So, I guess, in a way its happy birthday to both of us!
Haha Saadat, I've never read a poem about shoes before! I really enjoyed it though as it was very cute and creative.
