My Brother, Corey Williams 1993-1993 Poem by Chanel Williams

This Poem is dedicated to my little brother Corey Williams {1993-1993}

This is your sister, that you never got to know

Because you passed away leaving us feeling blue,
But who could've known

You were only four months old
You just came out of our mothers womb,

You were just snoozing peacefully in the very next room,

It was 1993,
I was just three years old,

I saw blood coming from your nose
Your body felt cold,

When i sleep at night
i hear people mourn as their final goodbyes,

That's when tears started to stream from my eyes,

If you were here today,
You would've been a teen

Living life to the fullest,
And fufiling your dream,

We have four sisters now,
And a little brother,

And now God has blessed us with yet another

God has his reasons for taking you from us,

But we are glad to know that you're with him,
Watching over us.

This is a true story, that sadly happened in my family.
Love you little brother!
