My Blessing Poem by LaRon Green Sr.

My Blessing

"My Blessing"

Carmel Complexion, When I saw you
I knew you was
My Blessing
I never imagine you would walk that aisle
To you know who
In my direction
Was it a connection?
My Blessing
Your eyes, Your looks, Your smile, Your lips
Can I have a kiss?
Your hips, Your thighs, Your legs
I sure didn't miss
I was shook
All I knew had to have you
For all it took
My Blessing
Sitting in the chair
Looking eye to eye
I almost cried
I did share a tear inside
You was on the opposite side
To my surprise
Taking my order
God bless me because you was
Just what the doctor order
My Blessing
Ms. Jones
Inside I wanted to give you my number
My mouth sat there humble
Trying to figure out
How I was going to give it to you
I thought
The lady from the beginning
I sought
Was the blessing to you
All I needed was you to accept it
To call
So I can show you
I am the best of them all
My Blessing
Your smile as the white shine
Your teeth bright as a dime
In time I just want to wine and dine
To make it everything you want
To be just fine
I don't want to hump
Or would I dump you
With me everything will be just glee
I know nothing come free
Please don't play hard to get
Because my heart won't miss a beat
Until I get my first date
Ms. Jones
