My Birthday Is Coming.. Poem by Ging Taping

Dear God,

Up there in heaven,
Here is your humble servant offering
thee praises and thanks for all the blessings
You bestowed upon thee..

Though I am not worthy of thy love.
I committed sins with my thoughts,
words and actions but still you love me dearly.
YOU extend your patience on me.
YOU cover my faults with thy love,
thy compassion.
Thank you for until now I still have this life
and strength within me..

Looking back I faced so many challenges,
that I might not even believe that I can pass
the obstacles in my journey..
There were times I almost fall in the peak of death
But I have YOU along with me..
YOU gave me strenght.. YOU help me carry my cross..

My birthday is drowning near,
Another year added..I'm getting older..
They said age is just a number.
But when I look at myself in the mirror..
Lines on my face starts to appear,
Almost in the prime of my life..
I don't know 'til when my sojourn will be over..
I'm Still Enjoying MY stay..
I beseech thee Oh God! Until come judgment day.
