My Birthday

It is my birthday
a very good day,
blessed one,
a day i will never forget.

It is my birthday
i want something special,
a gift, a hug, a best wish
but most of all
Love.

My birthday
a day that will never be forgoten in my family,
a day i will rejoice as long as I live,
a day that i get to be someone i want to be.

My birthday
My gooday
My blessed day
My best day

Poem of the Day

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
