Festoons and balloons
Meals and spoons
And it's 12 O'Clock noon
My birthday has started
Nothing has parted
And my friends are invited
This birthday was my nineth
Which was more than fine
I had a chocolate cake
That was heart in shape
And I received a lot of gifts
On October sixth
I had a lot of fun
And ate biscuits and buns
We ate cakes, samosas and chips
In sauce all were dipped
We read a lot of stories
In my room in the second storey
But when the time passed
Which was first class
The day was over
Which I looked forward
I felt bad and sad
But I knew
Another birthday will turn up
Brand and new
