I fell asleep
in class today
a dream of us
swept me away

first day we met
in the summer sun
holding hands
we became one

first kiss
we ever shared
all because
our buddies dared

First dance
we ever had
that night
turned bad

startled awake
by these tears
loving you now
Is my biggest fear
