My Bestfriend Poem by Tim Holmes Jr

My Bestfriend

Rating: 5.0

It's amazing the way you've captivated my soul
To see this reconnect from something old.
I have found I think of you more than self
I can't keep this bottled up then placed on a shelf.
I love you, there I've said it, I shouldn't I know
But feeling that doesn't stem from lust, can grow.
The more we talk the more obvious it becomes.
You should be my someone, but I'm someone's
Your voice echoes in in my mind, as freedom rings
The way I see it you're my Queen of Queen's
I embrace your style, grace, and beauty
It does you no justice to merely call you pretty.
With your eyes you pierce through my heart
Makes the truth flow easy no lies from the start.
Don't underestimate the significance of our time well spent
I sincerely relish it, be it man made or heaven sent.
When I see your smile, my heart tends to skip a beat,
To think that I may have caused it is surely a treat.
The touch of your hand sends chills up my spine
Making me wish at another place in an another time, that you were mine.
