My Beloved Thoughts ~ Lyric Poetry Poem by Christine A Kysely

My Beloved Thoughts ~ Lyric Poetry

My thoughts which I bear
They are my own
Born of my flesh and blood
From my Holiest place
Far above me, deep within my womb
Created in my own image.

My thoughts, they are my own
They are of me
My own child, my own children, which I have wrought
Which I have grown and created
And brought to bear
Into this Unholiest of Worlds.

My thoughts which I have grown within me
Which I have presented unto this world
Through my own screaming anguish
Through my painfullest of seasons
Torn from my very womb
They bear an image which is my very own.

I have bore these thoughts
Lovely, evil, sacred human thoughts
Possessing all of the deadly traits of man
Possessing all of his evil charms
And yet having all of their own beauty
A Sacredness all their own
This child, these children
They are my beloved thoughts.

And although some unholy and evil man
Uneducated in word and deed
May think to take my child, my children, as his own
The whole world will rise up against him
The Universe will not allow
This unsacred adoption of that which is not his.

My child, my children, are not of him
They are of myself and the Universe
Of the distant nebulas of my mind
Mine and only mine, my children are my children
My stars are my stars, my planets are my planets
They exist only in my galaxies.

My name is written amongst them, and upon them
He cannot erase my name
It is written for all to see
Inscribed upon this galaxy of me
My thoughts, my child, my children
They are my own, my beloved thoughts.
