My Belle Poem by Carike Klokow

My Belle

Glorious night fall upon me
as my one true love i will once again see
at the ball we ll meet tonight
and dance away in moonlit night

Approaching me like an angel she smiles
staring at me with hazelnut eyes
slowly we dance hand in hand
to waltzes played by the band

Laughing, swirling, round and round
dancing loveing every sound
for so much fun soon comes to end
as dawn rises on mountain bend

So spectacular she looked tonight
blowing kisses as she leaves my sight
remembering her face and smell
as midnight comes i bid her farewell
