My Angel Above Me Poem by Beverly Brown

A very dear woman that means a lot to me has recently lost her daughter to cancer. Cancer is more famous now then it ever used to be. I don't mean famous in a good way either. It strikes when you least expect it and some people are lucky enough to fight it and others are not as fortunate. Well Marie's daughter was not fortunate and she lost her battle on February 28th 2014. Marie is trying to keep strong and everyday is a challenge. So I wrote her this poem to read whenever she feels hopeless and down to keep her spirits up. Her daughter may not be physically with her but in her heart she is always there. She is watching down on her mother and loved ones everyday! I love you Marie and I will always be there for you!
