Standing empty and confused
In this nights perfection
Alone in this fight
There is nothing left
Thousands of thoughts
Millions of prayers
Struggling to understand
It's simply chaotic reality
This is a game
Unfriendly and unkind
I collapse to my knees
I pray, I cry, I hurt.
Taking my hand,
I look upward
Finally a belonging
A loving friend stands there
Tears of joy
Knowing she's there
Until the very end
She's everything and more
Together we'll laugh
Together we'll cry
Together we'll fall
Together we'll fight
Never being alone
without her,
I'd be unknown even to myself
A different person
she completes something in me
To this, my guardian angel
I'll love you forever
My love for you is endless
