My Angel Poem by tanesha davenport

my guardian angel was sent to me
but my guardian angel was taken away
i'm wondering what i've could have done to make him stay
feeling helpless
left unprotected
my angel is beaconed at someone elses will
he flies away bring back all the pain i feel
he goes away but not by choice
his god's take him away by force
they try to pull off his wings so he can no longer fly
they break his spirit, until he wants to die
my angel is suppose to help me, but i help him
saving him from the devils like them
he comes yet he goes
it breaks my hearts, but he already knows
maybe one day he'll get to stay
i pray to see my guardian angel again someday
