My Aloneness Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

My Aloneness

A certified and cautious ambivert,
I follow the old and proven adage,
Who goes with the wise grows wise
And only fools follow a mirage.

I like to be alone just to read the Book
Immerse myself in its refreshing peace,
Drink the view to where my eyes would look
My aloneness can always give the needed bliss.

A moment's comfort and perhaps reprieve
From the dreary pull of daily burdens,
Aloneness draws the courage to receive
New strength and the resolve to start again!
