My Addiction Poem by james d nall,jr

My Addiction

Sitting in front of the screen for days
I struggle to come up with new ways
To find some conception of my lines
Putting together sentences forming rhymes
Not able to walk away from this demon
That takes over my life with its scheming
To some my words bring joy and laughter
Others refuse to read them, everafter
If a Smile these words do bring
Or laughter thru your house does ring
Remember, not all of them are fiction
But, most are the effects of my addiction
