My Absence Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

My Absence

It was no nightmare
But a place where
Each mortal life finds space
Irrespective of creed, color and race

No doubt, it was unique bond
That stood none to second
We moved hand in hand
Not like partner but as close friend

The cruel fate took me over
I was declared no more
The relation ended with my departure
You had in waiting a bleak future

Cry not over natural cycle
We are all human being
And surely guided by divine theory
It is set by creator or powerful almighty

Search me no where
I watch you from closely and stay very near
You keep no fear for my absence
That should not be the cause for worry or tension
