Mustang Parade Poem by Marilyn Lott

Mustang Parade

All shined up like a new penny
The ‘classic’ cars were all collected
Their drivers were so excited
For their ‘auto’ was now inspected

Cars are not all that is there, of course
For this special and fun parade
Farm equipment too was ready
Last minute adjustments were made

Llamas took their place in line
Different travel modes to appear
The problem with a stubborn animal is
They aren’t always easy to steer

There is so much fun activity
There’s a lot to do for awhile
A once a year celebration
That is bound to give you a smile

I hope you get to enjoy the day
See it all or you’ll wish you had stayed
For the fun is about to begin
In the wonderful Mustang parade!
