Music Mine Poem by Elizabeth Lindberg

Music Mine

Rating: 5.0

If a picture paints a thousand words
so does a single note,
tingling on the breeze of life,
the sound of love and hope,
a warbler calls on to his mate,
a mockingbird can sing,
sounds so sweet one might wonder
God is listening,
I think he sent some song my way
and placed it in my heart,
the music traveled to my head,
and made my fingers smart,
they're very happy when they hold,
a mandolin and play,
when words fail me my fingers know,
just what I want to say,
the sweet notes are so beautiful,
I thank God for the gift,
the music never fails to give,
my soul some happiness

I think he sent some song my way and placed it in my heart, the music traveled to my head, and made my fingers smart, That verse makes this poem, very cute!
