Music Poem by Michael Carlson

Music

Rating: 5.0

What's so special about music
To bring people to their knees
To pull people from the ashes
To raise people from the sea
Or extract them from car crashes

How can music inspire
Make people wear strange attire
Make people jump up and down
Spin in circles round and round
Dance across the flat ground
Right in tune with the precious sound

How can music cause people too see
Cause people to suddenly want to be free
Cause them to fight
Cause them to want their rights

Music is the worlds blood
Pulsing round and round
Music is as precious as light
For music is just as bright
Music causes peace
Music is like the Golden Fleece

With out music our world would be
A dead world to me
Music is my life
To keep that music is my strife
