Music Poem by Kent Krauss

Music

I'm often comforted by the familiar musical sounds I enjoy
Regardless of the means I might find best to employ
To get the melodies to my ears to soothe a crazed day
When things may have been overly hectic in pursuit of pay
Carrying you far beyond the reasonable, things getting rough
But you get to the car afterward, having more than enough
That's flustered you, caused you grief beyond thought
When you turn on that melodic music for which you sought
During the crazed day, to relax your senses and give relief
Allowing your relaxed mind to not have to suspend belief
