Multi Colored Sands Poem by Michael Baughn

Multi Colored Sands

Rating: 5.0

The Flash of Memory
A touch of Ice
A Flush of Fire
The swallowing back of tears
A longing,
The remembrance of joy before the deception
The Contentment,
The Pride
The Love

The Denial
The slow death of hope
The slipping away
Waves of beliefs eroding
Multi-colored sands washed back into the sea.

The Fear
Refusing to let go
The feeling of falling, of no longer existing
The last breath as one
The Us that will be lost
The paralyzing fear of Love that will be forgotten

A very well thought out and worded poem of love lost

Tragedy in bliss of love well depicted and insightfully penned in poetic diction with conviction. Love is a spiritual experience that affects all and sundry profoundly. It's whimsical and temperamental, coming unannounced and may leave without warning. A beautiful poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.10/10
