Mt. Everest

  Jetz war er oben, geschafft
was fuer ein Leben er getraeumt.
Kein Gipfel lockte mehr
kein Berg brachte mehr Tod.
Sein Augenlicht geschwunden
sein Atem schwer und fliehend.
Er setzte sich, zu ruhen
und Kraft zu sammeln fuer
den Abstieg in die bunte Welt
doch Gottes Plaene waren
wohl unbekannt doch wahr.
Er legte sich in weissen Schnee
der letzte Hauch ein Seufzer.
