Mr Death Poem by Oluokun Adewale

Mr Death

You wipe away
parents and offsprings
without considering
worth or wealth

You brought
thorns and tears
without considering
power or post

You perform duty
without considering
season or situation

Yet you shouted
I am the judge of
justice

You come like a gentleman
on the highway
without a knock or notice

My throne is elevated
you roar!
I am Mr Death
you all must pay my debt....

Who cares!
says one of the deceased son.
