Mr. Bean-Kind-Of Heaven Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Mr. Bean-Kind-Of Heaven

sweety when we die
we’ll have a Mr. Bean kind-of heaven
we’ll drive around town
running over blue cars
we don’t have to say a word
you can paint the room white
we’ll spend New Year’s
hours earlier than usual
but I promise I won’t get my head
stuck inside a turkey
or get you a picture
instead of jewelry
we’ll have picnics by the park
with a net above our heads
no fly will bother your sandwich
or a boy’s boat to mess with
we’ll spend our weekends
waiting outside a shop
just to get your favorite chair
and my favorite mop
we don’t have to swim
in that large swimming pool
to get your trunks lost
and get bullied by kids
even if all we had to eat were twigs
and you crashed the car into a van
I will always love you sweety
just like Teddy did Bean
