Mozart And Tourette's Syndrome

MOZART’S LAST LAUGH

Some neurologists believe that Mozart had Tourette’s,
but all the many expletives he used should not dismay us.
His virtuosity in making verbal quodlibets
does not explain why he became God’s loved one, Amadeus,
Although he was compulsively a laugher,
his brain was not in any way contrary.
He had the last laugh, letting Peter Schaffer
prove him the salt of sound, not Salieri.
