Moving On. Poem by Graham Jones

Moving On.

Rating: 4.0

I feel a calm descending
As my soul prepares to rise
I feel the light within me
As I open up my eyes

Then looking down below me
I see the shell that once was mine
And know it won't be long now
Before I leave this point in time

I hope I have contributed
Towards my time on earth
That all my friends and loved ones
Will regard me with some worth

Our time is but a short one
In the greater scheme of things
And I will leave with no regrets
For where the Angels sing.

As this poem reflects some of my own thinking, I wish I'd written it. Very nice, Graham. Esther : ]
