Moving On Poem by GORDON BUTCHERS

Moving On

Rating: 5.0

If there are problems
That you think you can't turn around,
Don't bury your head in the sand
When harsh decisions are abound.

Don't sweep them under the carpet
Hoping they will go away,
As they may come back again
To haunt you another day.

No good looking back
Trying to turn wrong into right,
The only way is to move on
With a bit of courage and insight.

Courage to rise above
Your follies and your foes,
For what the future has in store
Nobody really knows.

Because even in our darkest hours
There lies a glimmer of light,
Go forward with hope and optimism
To find a future happy and bright.
