Mothers Day Poem by Mohammed AlBalushi

Mothers Day

Why do I love you?
Love stems from my soul
Travel in the course of my blood
Old love
Started across the bridge
Bridge gave me life-sustaining
And emotion
Why do I love you?
Love felt the warmth of the life
And holed me in the bosom of the three
Nine months
And we separated
Why do I love you?
Love taught me the meaning of security
Fed and drank me in tenderness
Two years
Why do I love you?
Love taught me how to live
Step by step
Long march
Why do I love you?
Love taught me how to struggle
Access target
Self-configuration
To death
Why do I love you?
My mother
Oh dear
