Mothers Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

Mothers

Of creatures, none appears to me,
So wondrous as mother can be,

Love flowing sweetly from her breast
All infants suckling could attest;

Her tunes to angels' hymns belong,
Have you not loved your mother's song?

On direst times, in soaking rain,
She cheered you midst defeat and pain,

Nursed your wounds, kissed away the tears,
Your constant fan through all the years;

Though late, that only now I write
But none I felt to do more right.
