Motherly Wisdom Poem by Rightly Considered

Motherly Wisdom

Sunlight eagerly stretches in the window

With curtains drawn

As the new mother floats by

With nursing child covered in soft linen

The Golden rays like soft warm arms reaching in

To steady the new mother and gaze into

The creases of the swaddle

And give her blessed coronation of light,

gaining a peek at this new creation God has given

And interchange motherly smiles, condolences, and wisdom

As one whom God chooses

Every morning uses…to birth the day.
