Mother Teresa Poem by Adeline Fleischer

Mother Teresa

Rating: 4.0

Mother Teresa meant life
To the millions of poor
With her help
They all could endure! A life of sickness and poverty
Homeless and shunned
Including those in the slums
To her, all were number one! It didn't matter
To her anyway
She gave all her love
And taught them to pray Their souls needed God
Their bodies needed food
So she gave both
As well as she could She also was sick
But carried on
Until her last breath
Now who will carry on? To help the millions
Day after day
Without Mother Teresa
Their future seems gray
