Mother's Day 2009 Poem by Rhonda Baker

Mother's Day 2009

A bouquet of lilac's to start my day
Their fragrance sets me on my way
Hours of walking woodland trails
Looking beneath the foliage veils
To find the treasured mushrooms there
Was time consuming and took great care
A picture book, full of inspiration
Wind chimes to bring on meditation
My family, my in-laws, and Mother
Made this day, like no other
