You can go to mother
And share every thought.
She listens understandingly
As a mother ought.

And lovingly she reaches out
To console the heart.
Quite full of compassion,
She is a work of art.

Like the hen who’s chicks
Are beneath her wings,
A mother keeps her children
From the harmful things.

And like the beautiful rainbow
All lovely and so fair,
Her love and her beauty
Are seen everywhere.

A mother is determined,
Strong and very wise.
Powerfully her prayers
Are heard from the skies.

Her love is ever constant,
For she is always there
To lead, protect and guide
And continuously to care.
