~mother Of Sirens~ Poem by E Nigma

~mother Of Sirens~

An adventure ensues for the captain of this ship
I Tossed in a quip like the anchor in this ocean
The angers just a ruse for the motion of my grip
This emotional trip ripped through the heart of
this ocean

The freedom to sail upon the fish filled open seas
Brought a bitter cold breeze as it blew through my sails
The freezing rain fell along with the hail
That crashed into the scene
Seizing my peace

No treaties were signed, I sail and fish as I please
Just how did I become a prisoner on my own ship?
Ball & chain at the hip with a chip on my shoulder
A wave of relief overcame me with a plot which I mulled over
I overlooked the ocean, whilst preparing my escape

When darkness falls the sea queen sleeps
No rocking of the boat, no storm which you must ease
I have no qualms about this current conjuncture
Nor do I wish to lead on misadventures
I changed my form in which the ocean I subdued

Now bound to the laws written within the lines of reason
Lines previously erased with the changing of a season
This prism a promise to which you must heed
The boundaries have been set for your chaos can not be
A mother's anger lives in the heart of this ocean
