More Than Faith Poem by Chinonso Uche

O! Heavens, how did we know we could make it?
It never has to be a question because faith exists
But is it just faith? No it ain’t just faith
I so much believe there is something more than faith
Even bigger, more precious and much better than faith
For faith can never walk alone
I had to accord, for it’s obvious that something walked with faith
Until now...
We never met each other but we knew each other
We never touched each other but we felt each other
We never saw each other but we loved each other
For it’s this love that broke the barrier between us
It’s the love that covered the distance of about 50 miles between us
And lead us through time, for months, days and millions of moments
And now, I do realize and can say that
That which I so much believe is more bigger
More precious and much better than faith is Love.
