More Like Job (Book Of Job 1 & 2) Poem by JoAnn McGrath

More Like Job (Book Of Job 1 & 2)

More Like Job (Book of Job 1 & 2)

How can I be more like Job twice tested?
Beyond any mortal man could stand
Everything he owned or loved
The Devil took in his hand
Left with only his wife by his side
Sores all over his body from head to toe
Yet even in his suffering
God answers Job and shows
My trials seem so small
Compared to Job and his tests
Why do I fall short
and question Your Best
It's not Your ways
that give all my woes
It's the Devil himself
that drags me down below
