More Demands Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

More Demands

More demands

Whether you say or not
It remains fact
The greatness lies in self sufficiency
And not in plenty

You may earn
More and more to gain
Yet it shall give you no pleasure
And make future very secure

You will have to manage
And stop it going to drainage
If not utilized properly
It shall look disorderly

So with fewer resources
You shall be formidable force
You may pose real challenge
And come off from bad phase

So have as much as you want
But never grant
A place for mind
To press more demands
