"More And More"

Rating: 3.2

There was a time we thought
Money grew on trees.
That we could do with it
Exactly what we pleased.
We never looked ahead
Just living for today
To me it seems, we believed
We'd never have to pay.
Correct me if I'm wrong
But listen to me please
It's our demands,
For more and more
That brought this country
To its knees.
I can't help but hear
What their all gonna do
years gone by, I was asking
For the store, always
Wanting more and more
So, I, am guilty too.
