More 2007 Czech Days Poem by Marilyn Lott

More 2007 Czech Days

You should have seen the faces
Of children so cute and small
Looked like little clowns they did
Some were short and some were tall

Ladies with their hair all fixed up
With clips and bows and flowers
Thank goodness the sun was shining
Instead of soppy wet showers

Pretty smiles for this special day
All decked out and ready for fun
For the Czech parade was here
Everyone was sad when it was done

Native American costumes
With horses dressed up as well
Kids learning all about pride
So many stories they could tell

So another year of Czech Days
A day packed with food and of fun
Memories to last a lifetime
Lots of excitement for everyone!
