Moonlight. Poem by Nicco Muegge

Hum the melody of a song long forgotten
as i sing the words i don't remember,
Whisper secrets you'd never tell
as they bounce into the security of my mind,
Lean your head on the shoulder that wont forsake you
as i brush your hair behind your ear,
Look into these eyes that are understanding
and will forever remember the color of your eyes.

Lose track of time and your worries
as i pull you closer and we become all that exists,
Pull my hand near your heart
as i imagine the rhythm of it's beat,
Hold my head high in your hands
as i dream reality because of it's sweetness,
Stay here with me while the fire still burns
and we'll grow old together and live forever.
