Moon's Lady Poem by Tobbie WhiteBird Crowe

Moon's Lady

Moon's Lady rides the night
Her cloak of silver, her dress of white.
She rides the skies on wings of gold
While her copper laughter fills the void.

Moon's Lady walks the night
Her eyes are darkness and unending light.
She welds the wind and stars and sings
To send the cold that fills his need.

Moon's Lady owns the night
Spell set hair within her sight.
Of magic crystals hers to keep
As she herds her mortals in their sleep.

Moon's Lady love's the night
In his cloak of velvet he does entice,
To walk with her in his silent flight;
Where only death is heard to cry.

Moon's Lady and Master Night
Ride the winds in monthly flight.
A stranger two cannot compare
Least, be the children she soon will bare.
