Moon, you are so bright and proud, distinguished by your shining stars
Moon, your voice is clear and loud, I always know just where you are
Moon, you are so smart and strong, capable in every way
You make me long to belong, to you; tell me, what do you say?
Moon, your face invades my dreams,
And everything you do, I see
I want you to notice me
Moon, you are so out of reach.
