Monkey Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Monkey

Rating: 5.0

Monkey

We,

Each of us

Through lessons
See a monkey different
Some cousins, some as our origin

But a stupid thief
Is in a rice paddy
A Bangladeshi monkey

Monkeys love rice
Kept in long necked clay vase
Thief’s long thin hand easily goes deep

Filled fist
Cannot come out
Monkeys, a shout

An alarm
Caught Red handed; will pay the price
With a Stupid, Greedy life!
