Money Is Evil

A thin thing, Weightless, Handy paper, Piece of value, Demonic carbon, Eye for an eye, Force of evil. Money as a name, would not let, Humanity rest, Mind would not respite, Heart won't get peace, Man is not comfortable, Money- money lo! , Greatest root of evil. Good spiritedi man, Good money for one, Life changing edge, As good as gem, Man would ever have. Money is, A burning edge, It is a voyage, Of a better life, It is as good, A virtue to man, As easiest road, For exit to hell.

poet Ralph Waldo Emerson

Knows he who tills this lonely field
To reap its scanty corn,
What mystic fruit his acres yield
At midnight and at morn?

In the long sunny afternoon,
