Monday Morning Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Monday Morning

Monday morning

Good, great is morning
What is short is artist!

A canvas is needed on easel
And colours and designs…

First to do is sketch
Trucks come every size
Bottles of beverages
Are settled inside box
To fill the liquor shops.

Weekends are dragons
They have base at throats
And consume the liquors
Absorption is endless...

On roadsides cars are parked
The owners have their jobs
Each holding coffee cup,
Appear awake but
Best to do is
Is to yawn.

Elderlies walk the dogs
Or sometimes grandchild.

It's Monday morning and
Shortage is the artist
With easel and canvas
And brush and the paint.
