Mommy, Daddy Poem by Jean Gray

Mommy, Daddy

Mommy, Daddy, I am here with you,
I know I had to leave as soon as I was born to you,
Please don’t worry, an Angel came to me,
She said, precious child, come with me,
I asked her why, I want to stay,
The Angel took me anyway.

I did want to stay, but I had to go,
The Angel carried me,
I began to glow,
Glow from the Angel, her love and power,
I said to her, no, not now, not this, this hour.

Mommy, Daddy, I do love you so,
I wish you could see, the bright, sparkling lights I see before me,
Gods loving Angels carrying me,
I will be safe until you see me again,
Jesus told me, on that you can depend.

I will be there, when your time has gone,
I’ll be the one who meets you, that, you can depend upon,
But don’t do that yet, I know you are both sad,
I love you Mommy and Daddy and I am so glad,
To tell you both, you are the parents I had,
Had for just a moment, a moment so sad.

Sad for me going at such a short time,
For you both not to know me, but I have to climb,
Climb the heavens stairs that are set before me,
But Mommy, Daddy, please know, thats not too much for me,
The Angel will guide me, carry me far,
I know I’m so little, I know I’m not strong,
But please know both of your love will carry me along
.

Please Mommy Daddy, I love both you so,
I will watch you both wherever you go,
When your time has come and you feel dismayed,
Remember, the Angel that came and took me that day,
Trust her, follow her, she’ll show you the way.

Mommy, Daddy,
Please don’t worry, Jesus is there,
He held out his hands and I knew he cared,
He said to me, precious child you bright shining star,
I’m sorry I took you from your parents so far,
He knows I wanted to stay with you,
But please, Mommy, Daddy I ask you both to,
Cry now, but don’t be too sad,
Remember I said to you I will be so glad,
The day you both come to me at Heavens great door,
I will be there, I love you both so.
