Moment Poem by Sandile mngadi.

Moment

That moment she stopped fighting me
I knew it was over between us
When her phone rang with no answer
I knew then that it was the end of us
I could imagine her seating in her bed
Looking at the phone ring
With a glance at the phone
The word love written on the screen
Tears rolling down till the phone stops
Taking the phone going to contacts and pressing delete
Then pressing power off
Tears streaming down her chick
I could imagine the rain off tears on her face
The fight was over
Questioning the time spent with me
Looking for reasons why
The voice of friends and family
When they said 'boys are not good whispering to her'
Holding the pillow tyt
The feeling of pain and disappointment
Walls closing in
The fight was over
