'Mom - Are You Listening' - Lincoln Park Zoo

'Mom, let me come back in the pouch.'
'I know you said you needed space.'
'But that's no cause to be a grouch -'
'Make me a DCFS case.'
'I'm just a helpless baby roo, '
'And you kick me out of my home, '
'To run wild in Lincoln park Zoo, '
'Where all sorts of creatures do roam.'
''Specially those weird humankind, '
'Waving lit boxes in abound.'
'As a Mom, I would think you'd mind'
'That all those strangers are around.'

'C'mon Mom, I went out to play, '
'But let me back in - whaddya say? '
