Mom Poem by Fate McFate

Mom

How nice of you to bear me
gave me love and confidence
clean my napkins
and kiss my tiny cheeks.

It's amazing you care
for your lullabies lulled me to sleep
and always you secured my thoughts.

The world saw me smart
the pride of sweet mom
and am accepted by the universe
everything you taught me mom.

I'll make you proud with morals
succeed and buy you a car
bear a child and name after you
for this is me because of you.

Mom.
