Mole's Life Poem by Leslie Alexis

Mole's Life

The mole life's doesn't seem that bad
in fact I'm jealous just a tad
of some of the things moles get to do
while i am on my human curfew.

Too big to dance with the butterfly
such a life simple passed me by
and too coward to be with the bee
never have I shared her honey.

Flowers have a fragrant smell?
Locked inside I could not tell.
O lucky are you, you happy mole,
You live a life - a life that's whole.
